Korean Fried Chicken Near Disneyland: bb.q Chicken Anaheim Review

Image
If you want Korean fried chicken near Disneyland, bb.q Chicken Anaheim is a practical choice for a family meal or takeout dinner. The restaurant sits near Euclid Street and La Palma Avenue, across from Anaheim Plaza. The location is not within walking distance of the theme parks, so plan to drive or order delivery. Our family eats here more often than at any other Korean fried chicken restaurant nearby. We return for two reasons. Golden Original has a crisp, clean finish without an old oil smell, and Secret Sauce gives us the familiar sweet and tangy flavor of Korean yangnyeom chicken without much heat. For four people, our regular order is one Half & Half Whole Chicken with Golden Original on one side and Secret Sauce on the other. We add another half order of Golden Original. One and a half chickens has been enough for our family, with a few pieces left for the next day. bb.q Chicken Anaheim at 681 N Euclid Street, across from Anaheim Plaza...

Getting to Disneyland With Kids: Walk, Drive, or Take a Shuttle?

Image
ART stopped running on March 31, 2026. No single shuttle took its place. Visitors staying near Disneyland now need to compare walking, hotel shuttles, OC Bus, rideshare, and Disney parking. For families, the hardest part is rarely the morning trip. The real test comes after fireworks, when children are sleepy, adults have sore feet, and the stroller holds jackets, bags, and souvenirs. With Disneyland only 5 to 10 minutes from home, driving was our default option when the kids were young. We loaded the trunk with everything we needed—stroller, extra jackets, snacks, and park bags—and left whenever we were ready. Living close to Disneyland did not make the trip from the parking space to the entrance easy. We still unloaded the stroller, gathered the bags, kept both children close, rode a tram or bus, passed security, and walked to the gates. After a full park day, we repeated the same steps on the way back to the car. My children are older now, but I still remember which parts...

SNA, LGB, or LAX: Which Airport Is Best for Disneyland?

Image
If flight prices and schedules are similar, I would choose John Wayne Airport for a Disneyland trip. Long Beach Airport is another easy option when a nonstop flight fits your schedule. LAX is worth considering when the airport offers the only nonstop route, a much better departure time, or large airfare savings for your full group. I have used all three airports. From my home in Anaheim, SNA gives me the simplest drive. LGB feels calm and manageable because the airport is small. LAX offers far more flight choices, but the pickup process and traffic add time after landing. The shortest distance does not always produce the easiest trip. Your flight, luggage, transportation, and group size matter too. At a Glance SNA, John Wayne Airport About 15 miles from Disneyland. Start here when fares and flight times are close. LGB, Long Beach Airport About 13 miles from Disneyland. Choose LGB when a convenient nonstop flight is available. LAX, Los Angeles Inter...

Disneyland Lightning Lane: What You Can (and Can’t) Book in Advance

Image
At Disneyland, buying a Lightning Lane pass and selecting a ride are two different steps . Some passes can be purchased before your trip, but that does not always mean you can reserve an attraction in advance. Here is the simplest way to understand the three options: Multi Pass: Buy it before your trip or after entering a park. Ride selections begin only after park entry. Single Pass: Buy it after entering a park and receive the next available arrival window. Premier Pass: Buy it up to seven days ahead. No arrival-time reservation is required. Pass Type Purchase Time Ride Selection Lightning Lane Multi Pass In advance with ticket OR upon entering the park Immediately after entering the park Lightning Lane Single Pass Upon entering the park At the time of purchase Lightning Lane Premier Pass In advance...

Food Allergies at Disneyland: What Parents Need to Know Before Ordering

Image
Planning meals at Disneyland can feel stressful when your child has a food allergy. You need more than a list of restaurants with “allergy-friendly” items. You need to know what to say, what to check when the food arrives, how mobile order works, and what to bring in case the available choices do not meet your child’s needs. The short answer is that many Disneyland restaurants can prepare meals made without common allergens. However, the process begins with the guest. Tell a Cast Member about the allergy every time you order, look for the visual allergy marker when the meal arrives, and confirm the request before anyone starts eating. Disneyland’s allergy process has changed over time, so some older advice may not reflect what guests are currently asked to do. This guide explains the current steps and adds the practical habits my family uses because my own child has a peanut allergy. ⚠️ Important safety note: Disneyland takes steps to reduce cross-contact, but it does n...
